The Total Health Check Service - FAQs

  • At your appointment, we’ll do a range of health tests, measuring:

    • blood glucose

    • blood pressure

    • cholesterol

    • body weight and composition

    We’ll also go through a lifestyle and wellness questionnaire.

    At the end of your consultation, we’ll talk about your results, what they mean, and what can be done to improve your overall health.

  • There are a number of reasons your results may not be considered ‘normal’, including:

    • high blood pressure caused by recent exercise

    • high or low blood glucose caused by improper eating intervals around the consultation

    For this reason, we ask you to follow some guidance before your appointment to ensure the tests are as accurate as they can be.

    If we’re concerned that the tests are correct and there is a potential risk to your health, we’ll help you to get in touch with your GP for an appointment.

  • After your appointment, you’ll receive a document which contains all of your results, what you’ve discussed with us and our advice for the future.

  • The cost of the service is £49. This includes everything from the consultations and tests to the administration of documents.
