Each year, millions of pilgrims travel to Mecca and Medina for Hajj and Umrah. Due to the close contact, shared accommodation, and extreme heat, vaccination requirements are strictly enforced by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health.

Saudi Arabia Entry Requirements

These requirements mean you may not be granted entry if you don’t meet them.
For Saudi Arabia in 2026, the Official Requirements are:
Yellow Fever if you meet the following criteria:
travellers aged 9 months or over
arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission
travellers having transited for more than 12 hours through an airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission
Meningococcal quadrivalent vaccine (A, C, W, Y) is a visa requirement for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and seasonal workers if you meet the following criteria:
aged 1 year or over
the vaccine must be given at least 10 days prior to arrival in Saudi Arabia, or the certificate will not be considered valid
the certificate must not be older than 5 years

Official guidelines suggest that all travellers shuld be up-to-date with the following vaccines:
Diphtheria/Tetanus/Poliomyelitis booster
Measles/Mumps/Rubella full vaccination

Most travellers are recommended to be up-to-date on the following vaccines:
Tetanus
We also recommend most travlleres are vaccinated for:

Some travellers, depending on their history, itinerary and health risks, are also recommended to receive:

How the TravelSafe Service Works
Book Your Consultation
Choose a date and time that suits you. You’ll be asked to complete your information and indicate which vaccines you’re interested in receiving.
When you book, you’ll pay a deposit for your appointment time. This is non-refundable. You can bring up to 1 other person with you for your appointment.
Attend For Vaccines
Visit us in-clinic to be vaccinated. You’ll need to bring any health documents relating to travel that you have, as well as your passport.
Receive Your Certificate
Receive your pdf certificate from us by email.
